Welcome to St Chad’s Catholic Primary School. I am very proud to be the Headteacher of this calm, happy and welcoming learning community where the school’s values and mission statement, ‘come as you are and walk with us’, are reflected in every aspect of school life.

At St Chad’s, we have a wonderful school where “warm relationships exist between pupils and staff and everyone is included”. (Ofsted, 2023)

We are a small, friendly school which is part of the wider family of schools within the Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust.

At St Chad’s, we endeavour to establish a safe and secure environment in which children feel happy and are given opportunities to reach their full potential. We believe that children learn from good examples and we encourage co-operation and self-discipline at all times. we encourage children to take responsibility for their own actions and to show a caring attitude towards others.

Our curriculum is designed to motivate all children and we provide a wide range of strategies to adapt our curriculum to meet the needs of all our learners.

We have the highest expectations of what our children can achieve.  Our fantastic team strive to inspire, enthuse and motivate all children to develop a lifelong love of learning and we believe that every child has the capacity to succeed. We promote Gospel values and virtues within school; every person is valued, nurtured and respected as an individual, made in the image of Christ. The promotion of these Gospel values also reinforces the British Values, equipping our pupils to be caring citizens.

Please take a look at our website for more information, follow us on Facebook for our day to day activities and of course, contact our school office to arrange a visit to our school.
