Welcome to St Chads Catholic Primary School

At St Chads, our exciting Forest School programme is at the heart of our approach to learning. Children enjoy hands on adventures that spark creativity, build resilience and nurture a real love for the outdoors. From exploring woodland areas to discovering new skills in nature, every day brings opportunities to grow, imagine and thrive.

We are delighted to welcome 3 and 4 year olds into our friendly and caring nursery, where little learners can settle in gently, make new friends and grow in confidence from day one. Our nursery team creates a warm, homely atmosphere filled with curiosity, laughter and lots of opportunities to explore and play.

St Chads is a welcoming and inclusive school community where every child is valued, supported and encouraged to achieve their very best. Wellbeing sits at the centre of everything we do, helping pupils feel happy, confident and ready to learn.

By choosing St Chads, your child becomes part of a caring community that nurtures compassion, confidence and curiosity. It is a place where children feel safe to explore, eager to learn and ready to embrace the future with enthusiasm.

Eco‑Warriors on a Mission: Saving Energy and Supporting Wildlife

The Year 5 and Year 6 class have formed an Eco‑Warriors group. Their job is to make sure no water or heat is wasted in school. Each day, they go around the building checking that lights are switched off, recycling bins are used properly, and whiteboards are turned off so no electricity is wasted. At the end of the week, they award each class either a red or green paw print to show how well they have done!
