We are delighted to welcome 3 and 4-year-olds into our friendly and caring nursery, where little learners can make new friends, grow in confidence and enjoy a warm, nurturing start to their education.
Families are invited to our Early Years Open Morning on Tuesday 10th November, 9.00am to 10.30am, where you can see our Nursery and Reception environments in action, meet our friendly staff and discover what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow.

Celebrating Learning Across the Curriculum at St Chad’s Catholic Primary School
Pupils at St Chad’s Catholic Primary School in Witton Park, Bishop Auckland, have been enjoying a wide range of engaging learning experiences across music, personal development, history and dance. The children in Class 1 have been making the most of their music lessons, learning a variety of songs and developing their musical skills through exploring the glockenspiels. Their enthusiasm and enjoyment have been evident as they sing, play and grow in confidence as young musicians.
St Chad’s Catholic Primary School Pupil Qualifies for British Tumbling Championships
There was great excitement at St Chad’s Catholic Primary School in Witton Park as the school celebrated the achievement of one of its very own Chad’s Champions, Darcy, who has qualified for the British Tumbling Championships. Darcy has earned a place at the prestigious competition after successfully progressing through the qualification process. Out of all those competing for a place, Darcy is one of just 13 young people who will take part in the championships this Saturday.
