Welcome to Class 2!
Our mixed Year 2, 3 and 4 class is a lively, caring and enthusiastic group, taught by Mrs Bowtell and Mrs Powton.
Our classroom offers a place where children of different ages learn together, support one another and grow in confidence every day. We are proud of the unique strengths that our mixed-age class offers as our younger children benefit from the encouragement and example of our older classmates, while older pupils develop responsibility and empathy as they guide and support others around them. This brings a warm, family like atmosphere where everyone feels included and allows friendships to flourish.
Together, we explore interesting topics that spark imagination and nurture a lifelong love of learning whilst creating memories that will stay with the children. We encourage independent skills to grow, responsibility to develop and ensure children feel capable and proud of their progress.
