This week, Class 1 have been celebrating Earth Day and learning all about how we can look after our beautiful world.
We respectfully joined together in class worship, reflecting on our responsibility to care for God’s creation. The children then created a wonderful display, sharing their ideas about simple ways we can help protect the Earth.
The children also enjoyed a practical activity where they had fun ‘fishing’ rubbish out of the ocean, helping them understand the importance of keeping our seas clean for wildlife.
In Science, we have been learning about living things and enjoyed exploring our surroundings to identify things that are living, once living and never living.
Well done, Class 1, for your enthusiasm and thoughtful learning as we work together to care for our world.
